Activities
Sit back and relax or be active
The boat is yours for the day - the choice is yours
There is usually a mix of people on board, and some will relax and watch whilst others will get stuck in.
Here you can see Big Bertha, our towable toy which can take up to four people.
There are some more ideas below for what you can get up to, and if there is something else you'd like to try then just ask - we may be able to arrange it..

Messing around in the water
Jump in the water or let yourself in down the ladder.
We have masks and snorkels on board, and floatation aids for the little ones.
As you come out there is a hot shower at the top of the ladder, and three private ones inside where you can get changed at the end of your swim. Hairdryers too!
Paddleboarding / canoeing
We keep normally keep two paddleboards on board and can arrange more if more of the party want to have a go.
We can arrange canoes etc too - you just have to ask.
Mini RIB
Our RIB can do over 20 knots, which seems really fast that close to the water. We need an adult in it for that reason and we'll give you a safety briefing and provide a safety kill cord (a safety cut off) and lifejackets or buoyancy aids.
Use it to go ashore or just have a potter. You can go for a blast around if that's your thing (where safe to do so and not antisocial)
We can arrange for an additional tender with a lower powered engine for younger members of the party to have a go.
Drive the big boat
Everyone of all ages can have a go at taking the helm of Maia.
If any of the party want to know more, they can get involved. Learn how to tie the fenders on, throw the lines when coming into dock and tie the boat up.
You can learn a bit about navigation too if you'd like. What do the buoys mean and how does the radar work. for example.
You can be involved as much or as little as you would like.
